Man-to-Man/Woman-to-Woman joined the Council at the end of 2003. It started serving the Greater Cincinnati area in 1971 with a matching program, pairing a volunteer with a specific inmate in an Ohio prison. The volunteer offers friendship and serves as a link between the inmate and the community, thus easing their entry into society..

The "Love Connection" is a ministry that provides transportation assistance to the family members and loved ones of Ohio prisoners. In 2003 over 500 men, women and children were transported to see loved ones at ten Ohio prisons: Lebanon, Warren, Chillicothe, Ross, London, Madison, Marysville(ORW), Orient(CRC), Pickaway and Noble.

"Fathers Giving Back to Society" is a doll-making ministry. The material is donated by The Greater Cincinnati Chapter of The American Sewing Guild and is taken to Warren Correctional Institution where male inmates make stuffed dolls for children. Each doll is complete with a unique story written to help youth deal with pertinent social issues such as drug use, gangs, low self-esteem and theft. Many of the stories are multifaceted in nature, dealing with diversity issues and respect for the cultural differences of others. These dolls are given to children of incarcerated parents, those who are removed from their home by Child Services and children in our education ministries. They are also given to various children's organizations to distribute where needed.

Man-to-Man/Woman-to-Woman also provides a Support Group for family and friends of prisoners. This arose out of the need for loved ones of prisoners to share their stories, express their feelings, gain strength, insight and support during this difficult time in their lives.
