Adult Jail Chaplains Ministry The Adult Jail Chaplaincy training for Winter/Spring
2007 has been
scheduled. 43 Active Chaplains The Adult Jail Chaplaincies Ministry is comprised of 45 people, lay and clergy, who minister to the incarcerated. Chaplains spend 13 weeks in training classes followed by on-going training, supervision and support. Chaplains enter the Hamilton County Justice System facilities on a daily basis to visit and pray with inmates. Hamilton County Sheriff Simon Leis remarked, "I am convinced the chaplaincy program is a very vital component of our correction division." Application Process:
