To successfully complete the course you must complete a minimum of eleven of the classes. Two classes are required: Session 1: The Role of a Chaplain and the session on Death Notification and Grief Intervention. Those who successfully complete the course may apply for an Adult Jail Chaplaincy position. To cover the cost of materials, there will be a $60.00 fee for this training. This fee is non-refundable. Class size will be limited to the first 14 people who submit their application and fee. We must receive your payment and application by 4:00 PM, Monday, January 22, 2007, in order to guarantee you a place in the class. If there are less than 6 applicants, the class will not be held and your fee will be refunded. Make checks payable to the Council of Christian Communions and indicate clearly that it is for "AJC Training." Those interested in applying for the Adult Jail Chaplaincy Team may request an application, in writing, from the Council of Christian Communions, 7030 Reading Rd., Suite 642, Cincinnati, Ohio 45237-3891.
