There are a number of ways that you can help the Council in its mission of service: Donations can be made by contacting the Council. All donations are tax deductible. Estate Planning - be sure to include the Council in your estate planning. Bequests to our endowment fund help us keep our ministries viable for far into the future. Part-time Staff of experienced teachers teach in our Education programs. Some teachers work one hour per week, some work four and five hours. Volunteering provides a personal way of serving the community. Our Educational ministries are looking for teacher's aides and mentors to assist our teachers. Our Justice Ministries are looking for clergy and lay volunteers to serve in the Hamilton County Justice Department. Church Sponsorship gives your church a way to provide an evangelistic ministry to the community. Many students are without a church home and often join the church where they have class. Our programs also give your church an opportunity to work with the area school. Worship Teams for the justice ministry extend the ministry of a church, giving its members a chance to volunteer together. Some churches may not have members that care to volunteer - those churches often become supporters of the Council. Denominational Participation provides a regional religious organization a mechanism to support the institutions of the community through an ecumenical organization. This "approved" process for ministry within area institutions gives our denominational partners a way of teaching Christian values within these institutions. This participation is usually financial through membership donations or grants.
