Founded in 1914, the Council of Christian Communions
of Greater Cincinnati is an ecumenical organization composed of 10
denominations and three organizations (representing over 850 churches). Each
year the Council utilizes the talents of volunteers and staff to mobilize
over 2000 volunteers, who minister and touch the lives of one out of every
10 people in our community.

Mission Statement:
Called to be the visible expression of Christian
unity,
an effective witness to the Gospel,
partners in Christ's service, and
builders of bridges,
the Council of Christian Communions of Greater
Cincinnati is composed of churches and other religious bodies committed
to working together... Our mission is accomplished primarily through the involvement
of staff and volunteers in organized ecumenical and interfaith programs
such as
Education and Justice Chaplaincies.
